Abstract
If the contemporary reader discovers the beauty of the iconographic representations of the human body in the treatise De humani corporis fabrica, he is perhaps less sensitive to the real novelty of the descriptive text in Latin. My presentation aims to show how and by what writing processes, Vesalius associates the reader with his lessons and his anatomical demonstrations as if he were attending them de vivo. In the explanations, in the choice of method, and in the respect for work well done, Andras Vesalius reveals qualities as a teacher that one could envy.
