Abstract
The law professor Rémi Pellet shall outline the current state of risk prevention and legal responsibilities for surgeons and specialists in interventional medicine, firstly by reviewing developments in health product law and the issues raised by the development of artificial intelligence (I), the role that bodies accredited by the French National Authority for Health (HAS) could play in improving judicial medical expert assessments (II) and, lastly, the challenges presented by changes in medical and surgical risk insurance law and the risk of personal bankruptcy faced by a handful of practitioners (III.)
