How to Modify a Stent Graft: The Imagination of the Surgeon at the Service of the Patient

Abstract
In this paper we describe a technique for customizing fenestrated endovascular repairs which allow the surgeon to deal with complex aortic aneurysmes in an emergency context. In case of a patient for whom open surgery would be at high risk, this technique is an interesting minimally invasive alternative. We also describe the presently available techniques for treating complex aortic aneuvrysmes in an emergency or semi-emergency context.
