Abstract
As part of the vaginal surgery training in the developing countries, we suggest doing a surgical technique for young women with pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Most of these prolapses are due to paravaginal defect and pubo-rectal avulsion secondary to very traumatic births.
Its the reason why we use lateral fixation to the pelvic side by trans-obturator route, uterus preservation as far as possible and a trans gluteal approach to make easier the trans-sacrospinous ligament transfixion by two threads in order to create a deep vaginal cavity.
In the hands of recently trained to this technique surgeons, the short term and one-year follow-up results appear favorable and the complications are rare.
