Abstract
This work illustrates the different risk situations of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) identified during surgery for a gastric bypass. There are many physical stresses in the operating room, impacting the spine and upper limbs. All staff working in the operating room are concerned. Preventive measures can be put in place in the short term. The occupational therapist with prevention missions, through his expertise in activity analysis and his skills in terms of adapting the environment, can support the operating room teams to improve their working conditions and reduce MSDs.
