Abstract
A story of men and women—general practitioners, surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and shareholders—who decided to save their workplace.
The board of directors of the Sainte Marie Clinic decided on a project to expand and relocate the surgical clinic to a new site in another town, on a 7-hectare plot, taking into account the experience gained.
An opportunity provided by the Hospital 2007 plan for the renovation of public and private healthcare facilities with a public service mission.
Board decision in 2000.
Construction began in 2003.
Completion of the works in 2005.
Inauguration, in September 2005, of a brand-new facility at the forefront of technology and innovation.
The Sainte Marie Clinic in Osny expanded onto a 7-hectare site with 10 independent healthcare structures, including the opening of a 24/7 emergency department.
“A true healthcare hub.”
The Sainte Marie Clinic was one of the first French promoters of outpatient surgery.
With recognized surgical and anesthetic expertise.
In 2005: 60% of surgeries were performed on an outpatient basis.
The 80% target was achieved in 2015.
Creation of, and participation in, the outpatient surgery observatory with the Regional Health Agency (ORCA).
2016: retirement of several board members.
No successor to take over the management.
