Abstract

The periorbital region plays a key role in facial aesthetics and is one of the earliest areas affected by aging. Traditional blepharoplasty techniques, primarily subtractive, have long been the standard approach but may lead to hollowing or unnatural results. Current trends are shifting toward regenerative strategies aimed at restoring volume, improving skin quality, and maintaining a natural appearance.
Lipofilling, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and other regenerative techniques provide a comprehensive approach to periorbital aging. These methods, often combined, result in more harmonious outcomes and higher patient satisfaction.
This presentation reviews the evolution of techniques, current indications, and clinical outcomes, while discussing limitations and future perspectives in regenerative periorbital aesthetic surgery.
