Abstract
From 80’S, robotic surgery was starting. France was first user. Evidently, other competitors were on the line. Robotic surgery aims at securing some surgical operations with high accuracy. Its has to be of some dozens of micrometers or one over hundred millimeters. A human arm does not have this accuracy, generally. It is the reason why some robots were created to get this accuracy in 80’s. It is worth noting that this innovation was suggested in USA and France at the same time, no delay.
Organizing some preoperative data and some on time surgical operations data gains with digital twins. Surgical robots allow increasing accuracy during surgical operation. These robots are manufacturer dependent, thus data management should be a key-point about the ownership.
It is worth noting that surgeons learning process was facilitating and reduce comparing with no robot usage. The surgeon learning duration is decreasing.
Who is the boss during surgical operation, surgeon-robot-digital twin? Surgeon has to stay 1st manager, the driver during surgical operation, pre and post.
