Abstract

The identified criteria include:
- A written educational program, proposing technical/procedural objectives and behavioral/human factors training objectives, based on with the college's learning objectives, adapted to the learners' level into the curiculum.
- An identified teaching team: with leaders and an annual program coordination-validation meeting.
- A standardized process of learning objectives assessment
- The existence of official institutional support is a key element.
- Dedicated premises for the school of surgery have been identified.
- A minimum equipment is required to be able to teach all the basic surgical procedures common to all specialties, as an access to body donation and an animal facility. ù- Having technical and secretarial staff is an essential element for the sustainability of surgical schools.
-Surgery schools are committed to sustainable development to align with the corporate social responsibility objectives of universities and healthcare institutions.
- A maintenance system for the surgical school's teaching materials is a strong point, as is having a minimally invasive surgery training program with access to appropriate high-tech equipment.
-Listing the surgical school via a website is a key element for its traceability and readability.
In conclusion, all of the listed prerequisites must be verifiable through the provision of supporting evidence.
