Evolution of the health system: the role of doctors

Physicians are the natural primary actors in the health care system. They are the ones who, allow access to care. This implies a territorial organization of pathways for the different pathologies, quality criteria for care, and an evaluation of practices. The generation of quality and sovereign data are their responsibility to allow access to innovations: new procedures, new medical devices, use of artificial intelligence. After the culture of risk management, surgeons must take ownership of the culture of data. The role of academic societies and CNPs as well as political will are essential.
