Two anatomo-surgical revolutions from anatomy towards « open » surgery (a-Andrew VESALIUS ) from anatomy towards « closed » surgery (Philippe MOURET)

Don’t expect yet another boring or excessive rehash! … On the contrary, the presentation focuses on the close analysis of two divisive techniques that have successively transformed the school of Surgery. These two giants are separated by 444 years, what’s more after 1500 years of dogmatic teaching plunged into « Galienic obscurantism » and then associated with alchemy medicines inherited from the Arab or Swiss tradition (Paracelsus).
