Abstract

The authors present 3 clinical cases which aim to demonstrate the value of LITT in neurosurgery in 3 different use cases in paediatric pathology, adult oncology and epilepsy surgery.

These cases illustrate the main advantages of LITT: precise pre-operative planning, minimally invasive surgery facilitating post-operative recovery, ability to safely treat areas that are extremely difficult to access due to their anatomical and/or functional situation, etc.
