Quelle pancréatectomie pour quel patient dans la NEM-1

Pancreatic involvement is very common in MEN1 patients, and almost half of them will need pancreatic surgery. Despite surgery, these tumors are responsible for the majority of MEN1 related deaths . Although prophylactic or curative pancreatic surgery has dramaticaly evolved in recent years, it remains associated with significant morbidity-mortality and functional consequences such as exocrine and endocrine pancreatic insufficiency. We will try to clarify during this presentation the indications and limits of pancreatectomies in NEM-1.
