Abstract
In Africa, as in Morocco, residential training in maxillofacial surgery is poorly structured.
In order to improve it, a learning guide and a regular organization of companions with pedagogical
porte folio have been established since 2009.
This training method has been evaluated over a period of 15 years, based on twenty-two surgical
companions involving over 1,450 surgical demonstrations, on a variety of themes including malformations, general plastic surgery and aesthetics.
Our results are amply positive, with 92.5% of residents satisfied with their autonomy at the end of their training.
The return is also human, scientific with the possibility of reproducing the model in Africa.
