Abstract
The percutaneous treatment of bone metastases has considerably expanded during the last years, with the development of new techniques that help to obtain a local control of the tumor disease as well as pain relief, while providing bone stabilization. The progress of guiding tools allow for the treatment by percutaneous means of the quasi-totality of bone metastases, in good safety conditions. These new mini-invasive techniques should be used in combination with the other anti-tumor treatments, through a therapeutic strategy established by a multidisciplinary meeting.
