Abstract
Shortage of surgical staff in developing countries and economic consequences have been outlined by the Lancet commission: Global Surgery 2030. Substitution by general practitioners aims at providing a reasonable, attainable, of good quality, in time, surgery. In that purpose, a prospect of surgery school was initiated in the North Kivu provincia of Democratic Republic of Congo. To reach the objective of «surgery for everybody», an international solidarity action is much needed.
