Cures for Groin Hernia in France in 2015: Results of the National Databasis

Abstract
The data of 2013 French National Databasis, last available data, show that the global number of cure is stable. But, ambulotary surgery is growing fast with 7,3% of cures in 2007 and 49,48% in 2013, reaching in some surgical centers 62,1% for laparoscopic unilateral cure. 89,6% of cures used mesh, whatever age of patients. Two thirds of unilateral cures use Lichtentein technique; conversely, two thirds of bilateral cures use laparoscopic way. The practice is accorded with guidelines.
