Abstract

It is extremely difficult to put in mind of the physician or orthopedic surgeons such concept, because they have forgotten that X-rays are only giving a « Chinese Shadow » or a projection in 2D of an object (the skeleton) built in 3D. All proof are given to demonstrate it as for mild scoliosis in a child as for degenerative spine. Especially the view of the top « Bird or Eagle » view clinically or after 3D reconstruction in standing position as it is realized thanks to the EOS imaging system is very demonstrative and open new ways to multiple new measurements, new approach for prevention, or new techniques for treatments.
