Abstract
The air cleanliness control of the operating room is relied by scientific,technical, and economical considerations.We proved that the unidirectional air flows reduce the particularand bacteriological concentration in the operating rooms. However,today, we must proceed with microbiological tests, in order to showthe respective influence of aerial and manual contaminations.Therefore, non unidirectional air flows keep a large position whenthe field of operation is chronically infected.Air recycling (usual, and effective in case of unidirectional air flow)prevails among other financial considerations. It protects the filters,and reduces the energy costs.
