The patientsmean age was 43 years. The time from the onset of the disease tothe first medical consult was 7.8 years. The disease localization waspenile (4 cases), scrotal (8 cases), or peno-scrotal (12 cases). Etiologywas mainly bacterial with 12 cases of urethral stenosis. Meanfollow-up time after surgery was 6 years. The outcome of elephantiasistreatment was both aesthetically and functionally satisfactoryin 21 cases. A modification of the “BOTREAU-ROUSSEL” techniquewas used to cover the external genitalia without the use ofcutaneous pedicled or free flaps.
